Paul Kimani Wanjiku
Paul, the eldest of three children, lost his mother at the birth of his youngest brother due to cardiorespiratory failure caused by acute kidney injury. Left in the care of his elderly grandparents, who struggle with health issues and financial hardship, he opted to sell charcoal and firewood to help support his siblings. This forced him to miss school frequently, and he was often ridiculed for his worn-out uniform, which lowered his self-confidence. Having had to mature beyond his years, Paul dreams of studying and becoming a successful person in society.
