Patrick is the youngest of three children. He lost his mother at birth. He was raised by his elderly grandparents, who rely on a small piece of land for survival. His ailing grandfather's medical needs have strained the family financially and Patrick has struggled to stay in school due to a lack of materials, uniform, and fees. His greatest desire now is to attend school daily and play with his friends.
