Shantel Wangari Waweru
Shantel is the fourth born and of six children. Her father went missing and they had no other choice but to move in with extended family. She had been living in a two-room home with seven other family members. Her mother has health issues and cannot afford basic needs for Shantel or her siblings. She was referred to Tumaini where she can continue her education and make a better life for herself and her family. She is grateful for this opportunity.
