Alex Mwendwa Wanza
Alex is an orphan, his mother died soon after childbirth. His maternal grandparents took him in but they also passed from HIV. His great-aunt then took on the responsibility of raising him but she is also elderly and sickly. Alex had not been attending school and was in danger of succumbing to life on the streets due to the company he was keeping. He is safe now in the nurturing environment of CCRC where he will have more structure and be able to attend school.
