Yasmin Dubra Wangira
Yasmin comes from a background of poverty and neglect. Her father abandoned the family and her mother has been struggling to provide for them by taking on casual jobs. She has three siblings. The local hospital asked that Beat the Drum make room for Yasmin and her sister Priscilla in the spring of 2023 so they would have access to food, medical care, and education. Yasmin is already starting to feel at home in the nurturing environment of Beat the Drum.
