Benson N'ganga Waithera
Benson is the firstborn of three children. His mother is irresponsible and suffers from alcoholism which resulted in the children being neglected. They would go for days without seeing her and then she would chase them away from home. A night watchman at a local school often let them sleep at the school gate where he could watch over them. After a while, he reported the case to the police. Benson was placed at Rhema Children's Home where he now has a safe place to sleep and the opportunity to go to school.
