Ian Ngugi Kauku
Ian's mother passed away when he was in Nursery school. He and his siblings lived with extended family after her passing but were not treated well. His elder sister moved to Nairobi and, after she married, moved Ian and their brother Kelvin to live with her. After a year, her husband said they had to leave. A cousin helped connect them to CCRC where Ian and Kelvin now live happily with access to nutritious meals and the opportunity for an education.
