Calvin Otieno
Calvin’s parents divorced and all five children stayed with their mother. She had an epileptic seizure and fell on a stove top containing a pot of boiling water and was severely burned. Calvin missed a full term of school while helping out at home. A neighbor tried to get additional help from an aunt but when she could not help they sought out assistance from GOA. Now Calvin is able to go to school in a safe, healthy environment. His favorite subjects are math and science and he aspires to be a bank manager.
