Brian Muindi Rodgers
Brian's mother passed away as a result of HIV. He and his older sister moved in with his grandmother. His sister worked as a barmaid to earn money to support the family. In 2014, she, too, died as a result of HIV. The grandmother could not work to support Brian so he was taken in by CCRC. He now has enough food to eat, people who care for him, and the opportunity to go to school. His favorite subject is social studies and he wants to become a civil engineer.
